The A-Z of Me.

Thanks to Ellen from elandbabya.com for tagging me. This post has been doing the rounds within the Irish Parenting Bloggers group. It’s a great way of getting to know everyone especially when I haven’t met them in person yet. Those girls really inspire me, they’re a bunch of extremely talented writers and I hope that one day I can be a teeny bit like them.

So here’s the A-Z of me. It was a lot easier than I expected.

A is for Aileen (obviously) – It’s also my mams name. I now appreciate that I was named after her but I didn’t when I was younger because my name was the target of many a name calling by horrible bullies.

B is for Bubble – It’s my favourite word. I just love the bubbliness of the letters.

C is for Cayman Islands. We had our first family holiday there last September. My boyfriends mother and uncle live there so it was great to experience their life oversees. It. Was. Amazing.

D is for Dolphins – I finally got to swim with these beautiful creatures after many many years of dreaming about it. It was surreal to say the least.

E is for Energy – Ever since becoming a mother, I have surprised myself at how much energy I have to do the things I do everyday of the week.

F is for Fashion – I am obsessed with it and have been since I was about 10 years old.

G is for Grazia magazine – I buy it religiously every week. I used to collect them, I literally had piles of issues that I had accumulated over the years, then I got pregnant and needed space for baby stuff. Bye bye Grazia.

H is for Happy – Since I had my baby and turned 30, I could finally say I was content and happy for once in my life.

I is for Inked – I’ve been inked four times (so far)

J is for Jokes – I am possibly the worst person ever to tell a joke and I hate it if someone else is telling one and I don’t get it. Mortified!

K is for Kinder Surprise – Olivia is obsessed with them lately but when I was young it was a HUGE deal if someone bought us one. Now they’re just a normal sweet treat…

L is for Love – I love my family. I love my friends. I love life. I just Love.

M is for Music – Music motivates me. The End.

N is for Nose – I have a little issue with my nose and if I won the lottery I would have an operation to fix that little issue.

O is for Olivia – My daughter. My everything.

P is for Pregnancy – I loved being pregnant and can’t wait to experience it all over again. Being sick was awful, I guess what made it more awful was having to work in that state like most women have to do, but once I was past that, it was the best experience of my life.

Q is for Questions – I love quiz shows on TV. It’s a great way to get your brain working.

R is for Retail – I’ve worked in retail for over 10 years. It’s enjoyable most of the time.

S is for Siblings – I have two sisters and one brother. When we’re together we have the best laugh. I won’t talk about the times when we don’t laugh. At the end of the day they are always there for me and I’m grateful for that.

T is for Tennis – I’ve played tennis since I was 12 years old. It’s my favourite sport ever. I took a break after I had Olivia but I’m getting back into it again. Bring. It. On

U is for Underwear – I’m a qualified bra fitter and sell underwear daily but my own underwear drawer is quite depressed looking. I need to change that soon.

V is for Vodka – My drink of choice.

W is for White – The colour of my first car. When I turned 17 I bought my first car but crashed it within the year. Oops!

X is for Xpose – I love watching this programme and keeping up to date with Irish fashion, beauty and celeb gossip.

Y is for Yes – I’m voting Yes in the Marriage Referendum. For equality, nothing else.

Z is for Zara – Again if I won the lottery (see N) I would happily shop at ZARA all day long.

I really enjoyed doing this, so thanks again Ellen. It’s kind of scary exposing a little bit more about myself but I don’t think it’s too damaging to my reputation!
