What we wore…..Communion

Time is not alway’s on my side lately, so I’m writing this nearly two weeks after the event, I’m sorry for the delay but better late than never!

Like Christenings, I feel Communions should have the same dress code -Stylish, elegant & the look should take you from day to night comfortably.

You should alway’s take into account that these kind of events will have plenty of photographs going around for years and years to come so you want to look back and think “yeah, I loved what I wore that day” no one ever wants to say “what was I thinking”!

So what we wore was mostly from Zara – I went for a look that’s very on-trend now, a colour palette of pastel shades. I just loved the colour combination.

I wore a Palm Print Loose Tee, tucked inside a Green Crochet Pencil Skirt

Shoes by Faith

Pastel pink bag by David Jones

Neckpiece pictured here is from Penney’s but I ended up wearing one from Topshop instead….

If you look closely in the top right photo you’ll see my nails were painted in a fab pastel purple colour by OPI called – You’re such a Budapest!

Olivia wore a pretty cotton heart print dress – I put a sparkly blue legging underneath from Next as it’s still quite chilly weather.

Brown woven sandals (listed as Trendy Sandal) from Zara

Bow hairband from Next

Orange cardigan also from Next

Her look was so pretty and girly – perfect for a Communion

The above photo was the best shot I got with Olivia wearing her beautiful hairband. I’ll get better in time with the fashion shots 🙂

This post goes to show you don’t have to spend a fortune to put together lovely outfit’s for the family.
