What a nice day we had last Friday, thanks to Ollwyn from Creeper Crawlers baby sleepsuits and rompers.
Me and O were invited up to take part in the shoot for the company’s new advertising campaign.
There were 10 or 11 other babies there too, it was alot, but I’m sure Ollwyn had a vision as to what she wanted the shoot to look like.
Once the babies became acquainted with one another and changed into their suits it was all go from there!
Olivia was first up, the stylist in me came out and I was trying to keep O’s hair in place and getting her to move in the right direction etc.
O moves on her bum and right leg so she doesn’t actually “crawl” but the photgrapher definitely got a few shots in a movement position and I thought it looked great!
Once O’s time was up it was the rest of the babies turn in the limelight, so we just watched and waited until it was time for the group shot. There was a lovely atmosphere in the studio and it was funny to see the other babies personalities shine too.
My friend Emma came with us and she took some behind the scenes shots that captured great moments during our time there.
The group shots with all the babies on set was hilarious, putting all of them together was bound to result in some funny moments and of course O created one of them! You see at this stage she was tired and cranky, so the poor little girl next to her bore the brunt of her temper (a temper i hadn’t seen before) and thankfully Emma captured it! (no-one was hurt by the way)!
During the group shot, Ollwyn added Christmas props but O didn’t really take part in this set because she was so tired. I just stayed back to settle her. She missed out on getting her photo taken with Ollwyn too which I was gutted about, (you see I feel that picture will definitely be used in advertising) but it would have been mean of me to put Olivia in that situation when she wasn’t feeling her best.
Overall it was a lovely few hours experience doing something different. I’m sending my best wishes to Ollwyn and the success of her business.
Aileen.
